I want to change thermal paste and probably thermal pads for my gpu card Aorus 2080 Ti extreme. What thermal paste is better: Arctic Mx-4 or Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut ?
thanks in advance

Is it the newer mx4 with 31600 poise or the older mx4 with 870?

If 31600 go with that.
Thermal grizzly Kryonaut is not thick enough.

If its the older mx4 it isn't viscous enough for a gpu die. If buying new paste I would go with mx-6 or honeywell ptm7950.

When I initially read this, my brain interpreted it as "Is it the newer mx4 with 31600 porpoises or the older mx4 with 870?" And I was trying to figure out why more dolphins were needed in the mx4 to work better....

There are two versions of MX-4? I know there was MX-5 (seems to be gone now) and now MX-6.

Why would they change it, and still call it MX-4?
I have MX-4 2019 edition (bought in mid 2020) Been working fine on my CPU and GPU. I'll use it till it's gone.

I have MX-6. That stuff is THICK. Seems to “dry” as soon as it’s squeezed out of the “syringe.”
