Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 64 CPU Cooler for AMD K8

Linkage

Extremely quiet and very efficient, the Freezer 64 Pro shows us innovation at its best. Including a patented mounting system that drastically reduces noise caused by fan vibration, and a specially designed fan that takes air from all around and not just a concentrated area allowing for greater airflow and again reducing its noise level. The fan blades are also designed to reduce any sounds caused by normal CPU fans. All of this adds up to a quiet and effective cooling solution.

Features
- Patented fan mounts
- Specialized fan blades with open casing
- 6 Heat Pipes
- 42 heat displacing fins
- More then 4700 cm2 of surface area
- Special fins designed to help cool Voltage converters located on your motherboard

Specifications
Extremely Quiet
The low speed 92 mm fan reduces the noise level to a minimum.
The patented fan holder is able to practically eliminate the typical buzzing sound of 92 mm fans.

Depending on where you live (shipping prices seem to vary widely) Provantage has this for $15.07 + s/h. I actually got the Intel version which is a little more ($16.36 + s/h) and it came to under $22 shipped to my area. May be worth checking out for a small savings depending on your location.

or $24.99 from newegg anytime....

not that great a deal... svc usually has free shipping codes or $5 off codes for these to make it a great deal.

they also usually have AS5 for like $6 shipped free usually.

sorry for bringing back a dead thread but i bought this off of newegg, it was the cheapest in the end. this looks to be a great cooler since i still have the stock HSF on my 3000+ and it gets REAL loud when im playing games or lookin up naughty stuff hehehe. hopefully this will be a lot quieter and cool better too

Ground shipping arrived like I had paid for next day.
Cheap price.
Definitely a company I will consider for future purchases.

Unfortunately, my motherboard only has fan speed control for newer (AM2) PWM-controlled fans. This sucker ran at full blast all the time. Not super loud, but not what I wanted. I ordered an Alpine 7, the PWM-controlled fan version for Intel chips, for $13 shipped and have an extremely quiet setup now. I figured it was better than waiting for the PWM (AM2) version or putting up with the fan on full blast.
