Hello everyone! I don't know if all the Best Buys are having this sale, but the one here in Wichita, Kansas has the Archos 6000 Jukebox MP3 Player on sale for $169.99........this is not a typo! I know that this player has seen some mixed reviews but I think compared to all the othre 64 MB mp3 players that are selling for the same price, this is the killer right here! BUY BUY!

It's me, again!

I forgot to mention that in addition to that insanely low price for the Archos, Best Buy still issued me a rebate receipt! This means that this killer deal is even deadlier!

This is what gets me.... 100 hrs of music and 5hrs of battery life with 4AA's. Go figure :)

More like 12-15 hours of battery life with the included 1500mah NiMH batteries even more if you buy 1800mah NiMH batteries. Trust me, I have one. This is a great deal but I like the 20GB version better for $249 at bb.

There was a stack of them in the Huntsville, AL Best Buy for $169.99. There is a rebate on the 20 GB model, but the BB rebate on the 6000 expired on the 24th. Circuit City has a current $30 rebate on the 6000 with a before rebate price of $199.99. I'm going to try to get them to PM BB before the rebate.

CC matched BB. Rebate printout came with receipt. After rebate and tax price comes to $153.59. Not bad.

Great Deal. These were $250 just a few weeks back. Nothing touches it for this price period!

Paid $200 AR for mine a couple of months back and thought it was a good deal then.

Love the player by the way, but milage will vary on the battery life. I only get about 8 hours (on a good day) out of mine.

After seeing this post and reading a few reviews, I decided to take the plunge and I just bought one from Best Buy. I am so glad I bought one, so far it's awesome! I especially love how it doesn't require the use of special software to transfer songs (unlike Creative's Nomad Jukebox). The player's ability to act as a portable hard drive is also very awesome, I can finally free up some space from my hard drive. It sounds great (just don't use the POS head phones that come with it) through my head phones and also sounds awesome through my home stereo as well as through my car deck. There are some sites I found out there that have instructions on how to upgrade the hard drive in the unit to a larger one (like a 30 gig drive) but it voids the warranty. Not sure if I'm brave enough to try it just yet, but we'll see. I definitely recommend this player over the Nomad.

Snagged one yesterday. $183 after tax.....great deal.

Thanks for the head up ConcoursAL, I didn't know CC has $30 rebate on this bad boy. Will try to get them to PM BB tomorrow, $153 sounds even sweeter.
