Arafat's Funeral - perfect assasination opportunity for Coalition Forces?

I was thinking; Arafat is pretty much dead; they are keeping him alive on machines to iron out the plans for his succession to hopefully ensure that the Israel/Palestine area doesn't erupt into Fallujah II.

So...he's removed from the machines in the next week or so. Funeral in Egypt to follow. Every Israel/Amercian hating terrorist sponsoring individual will attend, Koran in hand to mourn him.

Wouldn't this be the perfect time to assisinate say, about a dozen enemies of world peace? I think so.

This is not a pro-Israel post. I know full well the the US and Israel are allies. I also know that those that try to blow up Israel are the same people that are responsible for the Marine Embassy, the USS Cole, 911 and probably much of what's happening in Iraq right now.
 
Any time is a good time to fantasize ones own internal pent up violence. Just think Kill Kill Kill. Imagine this and that dead. You will feel much better and more powerful when you finish and the things in the closet and under the bead won't bother you as much. Do it till you're exhausted and can sleep.

This is my second post in P&N since it's inception. Typically, I know better than to venture in here, but my curiousity got the better of me and got me wondering.

No pent up hate here. I'm an American born free right here in the USA. I just know where payback is due and where it's not.
 
I don't think killing at a funeral is what any rational or respectable person or group would do, regardless of who is attending.

That sh!t is just wrong.

Remember this; not every country in the world recognized the Geneva convention or anything even remotely close to it.

Even if we were the only ones who did so, the US should honor the Geneva conventions
 
The people at that funeral are not directly involved with the terrorists acts against the United States. Although they are likely aligned with those actors, and may have even given them support in one way or another, you are not gonna get anyone who planned any attack on the US. They are too busy with a more immediate target.

Also, a good number of those people at the funeral are going to be the moderate leaders you want to have more influence within Hamas and the PA.

Not saying that there won't be a few fvcks there who deserve it, just saying that it's probably not the best tactic either for future peace or for preventing future attacks.
 
Israel and the US don't need to wait until some funeral to kill these people. They can do it whenever they want to. If they don't it's because they know it provoke EVEN MORE world outrage. That's the same reason they wouldn't pull such a ridiculous stunt but who knows... it's not like anybody outside of this country thinks the US or Israel has any dignity in who it targets.
 
Arafat died of aids, experts say that Arafat is a secret homosexual.

Plus the hospital he went to specializes in aids treatment.

This is a major embarrassment for the Palestinians, hopefully the truth will come out.
 
We tried this crap in other places, and it started civil wars and gave us multiple Saddams, and that was done on a small scale.

It's wrong, and you should know it. Getting even is the stupidest foreign policy imaginable.

Thought provoking, but a bad idea, his death signals a chance of movement & some wiggle room in the whole Palestinian issue.

Heard Imus talking about the HIV rumor this morning, wouldn't doubt it, you need to be in a bit of denial to contract HIV, & Muslims would have a real problem with it.

Not a good time for an assasination. But an excellent intelligence gathering picnic. You will see a ton of faces, and perhaps new ones in them. See what happens, who cries, who talks to whom, *where do they go afterwards*, etc.

Hi there Pliable!

From what i heard his liver is giving in, not a common thing when you got HIV as i understand it, and not something you can do much about without a transplant, i have a feeling all hell will break loose in a power struggle when Arafat dies.

Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
