Man I don't really think israel should leave. I think lowly of arafat and sharon both but those calling for removal of troops I'd like to see what they'd do in Israel's case. Peace and discussion and rationalization cannot over come religious extremism (on both sides), so we have to see which side seems more in the right. Since israel isn't blowing themselves up in cafes I think they are more in the right. Talking has not worked.

All Israel is accomplishing is creating a whole new generation of Palestinean Suicide Bombers. Unless they plan on staying there for eternity this is an exercise in futility. The situation is hopeless. The US should wash it hands of these who act like subhuman animals who won't be happy until one side or the other is completely exterminated.

<< Anyone else having a problem with these israelis shooting at the church?, thay have already killed at least one person who worked at the church, the church authorities are more offended by the isrealis than the pelastinians >>

Of course this wouldn't have happened if the cowards had not taken refuge there using it as a shield. why are you not addressing this?
>>

because throughout history the church has always been a safeplace and welcomed anyone who have seeked their help, so this is not unusual.

No doubt. Especially with calls from the US to pull out, and Israel flaunting the fact that they are more concerned about their militant agenda than our support. They may win this battle but they will lose the war to end terrorism against israelis. There's almost NOTHING that they could do more to help increase hostility and anymosity towards themselves from arabs, which practically begs for radicals to rise up, than what they are doing now with their military. But worse than that, because of the deepening frustrations, they are creating more radicals from normal citizens, people who will be willing to give their lives to support their beliefs.

Do you really believe these Palestinian gunmen were looking for help and not a shield to protect themselves by going into a holy place the Israelies would not enter?

If they truely wanted help they would have laid down their arms when they entered.

Jeez being from Texas I'd think you'd realize the similarity between those at the Alamo and those at the Church of Nativity.

LOL The Texans were not terrorists blowing up women and children. And the Texans were not hiding behind human shields or exploiting a holy place. The Alamo had been abondoned as a church for years and set up as a fort.

So those in the Church are Suicide Bombers? How can that be if they are still Alive? You seem to think that all who are fighting the Israeli Occupation are Terrorists. That's like saying all the Union Soldeirs in the Civil War were terrorists because the Kansas Redlegs killed innocent women and children in Missouri.

THe similarity is obvious. The Mexican Army = The Israeli Army. The Palestineans in the Church of the Nativity = Colonel Travis and his men at the Alamo

<< oh yeah and according to the church these arent millitants, they are palestinian policemen >>

Fatah in Bethlehem has claimed credit for several suicide bombings this year, including the killing by 18-year-old Mohamed Daraghmeh of five children and four women in Jerusalem as they completed their Sabbath meal.
The Al Aqsa group has carved out a fearsome reputation in Bethlehem. Just before Israeli soldiers entered the town, it killed two suspected collaborators, dragging their bodies through Manger Square, and then killed six more.

One of the few priests evacuated from the church told Israeli television yesterday that gunmen had shot their way in, and that the priests, monks and nuns were essentially hostages.

I would say that all of them are terrorists; just because you call someone a policeman does not mean that they uphold the law.

Can you imagine how loud the Moslems would scream and yell if Christian gunman shot their way into a Mosque and held some Imams and Mullahs hostage?

I said they were terrorists. Read more carefully.

To compare the Texans against the Palestinians is just your morning attempt of being an ass. Its not a shocker.

But I'll be happy to give you the reasons.

#1 The Texans never targeted Mexican civilians.
#2 The Texans never called for the killing of all Mexicans.
#3 The Texans never took refuge in an active holy site using clergy as human shields
#4 The Texans never claimed religious teachings as their means for independence

Unlike you I have to attempt to be an ass.

Similarities do not mean that they were exactly alike. Get a dictionary Bitch and learn the difference.

I'm still looking for the article that explains how Israel's current militantism is going to stop more suicide bombers, rather than invite more. You'd think they'd realize the bombers are a symptom of a complicated cause, and that by supposedly addressing this symptom, by killing hundreds more innocent palestinians this past week, it only deepens the hatred and hostilities and the cause, and inviting more generations to seek revenge against them.

Gutless Coward? A Gutless Coward is an asshole who threatens women via PM like you did punk. A Gutless Coward is an asshole who calls everybody a Gutless Coward when you don't happen to like what they have to say and you can't dispute it. You dipsh!t are the epitomy of a Gutless Coward. If I had a son who turned out like you I'd make him wear a dress so he wouldn't insult those who actually are men.

To be bested by you, you would have to address the very points you asked for.

I gave them and you ran away like a fightened child.

That's a very poor example.

The Americans fought with local Mexican citizens against a tyrant. I don't see any local Israelis running to fight with the Palestiantians. Israel is a democracy.

The Texas never targetted civilians, only the Mexican army.

The Church of Nativity is one of chistianity's holiest sites. The Alamo was an abandoned crumbling spanish mission.

Hey, at least I dont run away when someone addresses my debating point like a frightened child.

clearly you did it only to flame or you would have the guts to debate it.

But since its obvious only the starch in your shirt and not your spine is the only thing keeping you erect, I'm not surprised in the least :)

Take an anger management class old man. You have a lot of work to do. :)

i guess by this reasoning the guys in the alamo were cowards too eh?
they had to hide in a fort, couldnt come out and fight like real men. <sarcasm>

what is part of the reason we consider the people at the alamo to be heroes? they were outmanned and outgunned
and they didnt surrender to the mexicans when im sure they could have.

i dont consider these palestinians to be heroes, but you can't call taking shelter as being an act of cowardice. it would be incredibly stupid of them just to come running out against tanks or whatever else israel has there.

now i'm not sure why arafat has told them no negotiations. didn't they just negotiate the release?/arrest of a couple hundred palestinian police about a week ago.
