I'm shocked there is only one new "ARAFAT DEAD" thread in OT. I figured there would be at least 3-4.

if by "leading" you mean "setting his people back 1000 years", then yes he was a great leader...

Imagine his shock right now. He's waiting for 72 virgins, instead he's gonna be staring at the faces of all the women and children he and his gangs of murderers blew to pieces. Good riddance, a peaceful death is not what I wished for him, but I'm glad the scumbag is dead.

To you he might be a terrorist, to others he is a freedom fighter just as you might see Operation Iraqi Freedom as liberating the Iraqi people from a dictator, others may see it as illegal occupation. It is all relative.

The death of a great leader :(

Oh, is that how we classify the guy who murdered innocent Israeli athletes in the Munich Olympics? A freedom fighter? The guy who blew up innocent women and children for years? IMO whoever considers him a freedom fighter deserves the same fate of his victims.

Yes, strapping a bomb on yourself and blowing yourself up on a bus load of women and children is really a noble way to express yourself.

What a shame.

A great patriot and world leader has left us.

:brokenheart:

I think you're in the wrong thread.

Where should I be to express my grief? :D

Well considering this post was just to inform people that he was dead I would suggest P&N

About damned time. Apparently all that stalling was at least partly due to his fatass wife wanting to continue reaping benefits out of their union. :disgust:
