What would it be like if the Arab world from Morocco to Iraq combined into one country and the current countries became states?

The Arabic world (dominated by Islam) is backwards. Nothing in and of itself would change if the Arab world was united.

Likely the sum would be greater than that of the individual parts. Have you ever thought of how the US would be as 50 (or more) separate states? It would suck.

Wow I didn't say anything about Sharia law here, moron. And there is nothing in my post about blind faith. What kind of prejudice are you talking about? Racial? No. Prejudice against Arab culture. A culture where 60% of Egyptians admit to harassing women, for example? Sure.

They are capable of democracy!!
But it is not the United states version of Democracy!!
It is the Muslim version that is not totally secular.
In the Muslim version there is no tolerance of other religions -- it`s there way or the highway!!

If you want to muse Turkey as an example you do so of your own peril!!
