Aquascutum - good brand for trench coats?

I am still shopping for a trench coat. The cheap stuff is sorely lacking in terms of aesthetics, and stuff like Burberry looks good but costs too much. However, I did find a trench coat under the brand name of Aquascutum on eBay.

It's still not cheap, though - it's $350. But I find the price somewhat easier to stomach than the $1,000 trench coats Burberry's selling. Looks good, too, and made in the UK.

Should I go for it? I will be keeping this coat for a very long time if that is the case.

Someone posted in hot deals some 100% wool jackets for a great deal. I really liked the one labeled "Snowfox Exposer"

But the way it was listed it said (X - Poser ) and I didn't want people saying nice Poser jacket 🙁

I'll continue to shop around. If there are no cheaper options, I might as well go with this one (and forfeit a month's worth of wages).

you would spend a month's worth of wages on a trench coat? D:

oh wait, you said it's $350? you must still be in HS, that explains everything then.

I am a university student, and I have always been quite cheap about clothing - so long as it looks good and is cheap, I don't care what brand it is. For example, I bought several polyester/rayon suits at Target for $60 (jacket only) for interviews with accounting firms this upcoming October.

But with trench coats, it's really hard to find stuff that matches that "classic" look. I've searched several local retailers, but most of them (bear the luxury stores) don't have what I am looking for.
