So I have a 40 gallon aquarium set up since about 1998. Used to be full of all kinds of cool fish, including a tinfoil barb about the size of a quarter. Fast forward to last summer when the tinfoil barb, now about the size of my hand, suddenly turned serial killer and ate everything else in the tank :disgust:

So I'm tired of having a one fish tank. It's been neglected a bit and turning green because the barb kills any algea eaters I put in there (until I got some armor plated ones last week ... aka snails :p ). Any suggestions for what else to put in there that might stand a chance ... other then other big tinfoil barbs.

happenend to me too. I used to have 2 tin foil and a bunch of goldfish....then, when the barb grew as big as my feet, it ate up all the gold fish's eye...and the gold fish died.....

it didn't eat the tiger fish though...you know, the small ones that has stripes like a tiger? those stayed alive...

maybe you can try putting a beta...........they might put up a good fight..
