She was running in what had been a solidly Republican district.

"Political analysts view the central Florida district as solidly Republican."

The Central Florida district has been reliably Republican since its creation after the 2010 census.

"Freeman was running... in a district south of Orlando and Tampa that President Donald Trump won by 27 percentage points in 2016."

Not sure why her position in polling matters. Regardless it’s a heavily R district. Far too young to be gone.

Well if it was close there could be some shenanigans involved no? I could dust off my tin foil hat as well. It does happen rarely in the US but it has happened.

An 8 year-old district that was only gerrymandered into being. Hardly any sort of history due any sort of respect.

Surprised Bill Nelson hasn't filled it with displaced Puerto Ricans and "encouraged" them to stay and vote.
