But he is getting something of value for nothing. An STD probably doesn't have much value. You could always put it on ebay if you get one. Maybe it does have value on the free market.

http://www.ngohq.com/ demonstrated physX on ATI cards more then a year ago... they volunteered to develop it further but BOTH companies were against it... AFAIK they are still working on it slowly despite lack of support from both nvidia and amd.

It was a great Fools day at most the sites. But nothing can Match the Fermi paper launch. With its wind tunnel sound effects.

Well, then you want physics .. not PhysX
- why would you even *want* a proprietary Nvidia solution to run on an AMD card?

Why wouldn't you want it to run? The reasons to want it are pretty obvious. To play games that support physx without having to buy an nVidia card.
