April 14 and all these couples breaking up..

joohang

Lifer
I guess it's just a coincidence but I found it odd.

Feb 14 is Valentines
Some people I know also celebrate March 14.

And April 14 all these couples break up? Weren't there at least 3 or 4 instances in ATOT alone?

<< why would you celebrate 3/14? >>

I've seen some Koreans do that. Maybe it's just something among Koreans only.

So it goes like the guy confesses to the girl in February and the guy gets an answer in March. Or something like that.

I just never cared to look up if this is present in other cultures as well. 🙂

say what? i'm korean (not proud of it) and i've never even heard of anything so stupid like that. maybe this pertains to the fobs and clubbers.........

as to why people break up on april 14 ... no idea...
maybe it should be made "<some dark colour> day" from now on?

I equally despise the contemporary Korean culture. I am a lot better now, though. But then I did get treated like crap in Korea so I still have a negative stereotype against them.

I don't have a problem with them clubbing but I get annoyed when they try to boss me around or abuse me. Or when they just get annoying.

I do appreciate the premodern Korean culture, though. I am an Asian Studies major and my Korean history papers mostly prove how the popular view of Korean history is so wrong. 🙂

Buraku day? 🙂

My bf and I agreed to "take a break from dating" on Feb 15 (immpecable timing, eh?) and actually broke up over spring break, about two weeks ago. Thought spring was supposed to be the love-in-the-air season but not on AT apparently. Cool. 😉
