Apps and Games Title

Since the "Software - Apps and Games" sub-forum is underneath the "Software" category... can we just remove "Software - " from the title? Not a big deal for the older folk since the title is almost the same (sans programming), but it'd give added visibility for newer people.

No real need to split off games in my opinion. I doubt Apps and Games separated would be big enough to warrant separate forums and the two don't really detract from each other. What does detract from a lot of forums is the large amount of tech support that doesn't get put in the technical support forums but rather in their respective "area" forums.

No, they really, really need to split off games. Right now, the gaming threads fall into OT, Software and even Video...its just nonsensical not to have a dedicated gaming forum on a site like this.

As I and others have posted elsewhere, I agree with the need for a gaming forum, for the reasons you cite and others. Separating gaming will also encourage more serious focus on general software issues in the general software forum (no matter what it's called).
