Approved? Canon A70 for $289.99

I thought this was a pretty good find. It was at the UCSD bookstore and I was so surprised that they actually had it in stock and for such a great price? Yes? Or am I out of the loop.

Great camera. I bought mine for $299 at Ritz Camera. No one had these in stock (2 months ago). Canon can't keep up with the demand for these.

Somewhat warm. That's $10 off retail. This camera is usually $300. I found it for $286 shipped from justsayelectronics.com. They have decent ratings and shipped the next day. No tax either, which sweetens the deal. 🙂

The A80 is out or should be out, you might want to check that one out also.

Check your local OfficeMax. They have it for $299 but it includes a 128mb Lexar CF card. A better value IMO.

It's around $270 if you get in on one of the Dell 10% off peripherals + free shipping sales. But lots of people have been put on loooong wait lists. I got mine two weeks after ordering. 🙂

I was in on one of the Dell deals. It was $249 or so after tax and a 20% coupon. It was backordered for 2 weeks when I ordered it on 9/11. 9/24 I received an email saying it was delayed until 10/22. After about half an hour on the phone with Dell, I cancelled my order.

I really have no idea how Dell got such a good rep for customer service... it's awful.
