Hello everyone!

So i have been thinking about getting a laptop.
My budget is about $850-900 and i would like one below 16".
Basically i will use the laptop for gaming and movies. Maybe some music editing in the future but that is not the most important part.
I dont do very heavy requiring games right now (just playing FFXIV, GTA V basically, but if within that budget, it could handle some future games, i would be very happy. For example the coming Tomb Raider game.

The top gaming laptops are a bit too expensive for me as it seesm to go above $10000.
There are so many laptops out there and ive checked some but i have no idea what would be the best.

I would very appreciate all your help on this :)

Are you in the USA? Are there any brands you hate?

Dell just recently had laptops with a nvidia 1050ti and 1060 for under $1,000. If possible I'd try to increase your budget to get the 1060.

You'll only be able to game at 1080p, so you might not want to pay extra for a higher display resolution than that.

You might also have to settle for 8 GB RAM, even though 16 GB would be better. If the laptop ships with just 1 of the 2 memory slots filled (1 x 8 GB instead of 2 x 4) you might be able to easily add a second 8 GB stick.

Im in norway/sweden. I dont have a favorite or one i hate. I have only ever had an acer before from 2009, it can barely run youtube anymore hehe.
Yeah 1080p is enough, i havent planned to go beyond that.
I havent found any 1060 for a good price. It seems to go around 10000-12000 sek and i think its about 1200usd?

Couls you please give me any suggestions?
Id love to keep budget in 850-900

Sorry, I have no idea where to shop for laptops outside the US. I can just repeat that you should get at least a Geforce 1050ti GPU, and if possible a 1060.

just get 1050ti/1060 / 8th or 9th gen intel. Just picked up a few 8th gen intel laptops one with mx150 (super budget 360$ acer) with 8th gen intel. it plays everything i need it to, 1080 even with few settings change. (i dont care about shadows)
