I'm making a website for a small program in my school, in wordpress. I'm trying to find a scheduling software system that will work for our needs.
I do apologize about posting this in off topic, but I really don't know where to post it. programming isn't right, and there isn't a web development section. hopefully some of you can point me in the right direction.
Basically, all we need is a software that will allow users to schedule appointments with us (different schedules, different services per staff), send a confirmation email to them, and alert us of the appointment made.
I've looked at birchpress scheduler, but the free version fails on the last part. It doesn't alert staff of appointments. I've also looked at appointy, but it requires that the user have a registered account (no doubt for data mining purposes) Other plugins i've looked at have been similarly limited.
I don't want one that will accept money for services... We'll handle that later. these scheduled services at the moment are free for students/staff, public pays.
If possible, I'd also like to have some flexibility in the scheduling system, so that we can have groups of importance. (ie, students/staff get first dibs, then public has to either call to schedule, or propose a time for our acceptance.)
If we can at least get the functionality of birchpress with the alerting staff of impending appointments, that'd be awesome.
