How long does it take to hear back from government job applications? I applied for a few positions about a month ago and haven't heard anything additional beyond automated email acceptances. Most of them were rolling positions but one was closing Decembr 1. I know this is a bad time of year and many people are probably just watching the clock until 2005. Should I call now to inquire, call in 2005 to inquire, or just assume I didn't make the cut?
