Apply to work at Best Buy through the phone

So I called this number, 1-888-639-5629, and they gave me a bunch of questions, and took about 15 minutes. You either answer yes or no to them, and they'd be questions like, "Do you work well under pressure" and such. It was pretty fun actually. And when my friend was done they were, "Congratulations, we'll call you back". But they told me, "Sorry, you are not what we are looking for" 🙁 🙁

Maybe I'll call back under an alias and see if I can "pass".

What positions are they hiring for and under what pay structure? I hate to say it but I'm looking for any/all work right now.

LOL you are probably too smart / logical for them.

they are looking for someone who is slow and rude. 😉

There were three at my location, cashier/customer service, sales - non commision, and working in the music/video department. Not too sure on the last one though.

When my friend called he only got sales - non commision for some reason.

LOL.

Get used to hearing that...

Eh, how did you get used to it?

Ahhh, so this is how they find all the mentally-defective, uncaring, extended-warranty-pimping, always-on-break, not-my-department, slackin' off, Target-rejects to man their stores! 😀

You can't call back unfortunetly...because they check your SSN #.

I'd recommend going in and talking directly to a manager, saying the phone system rejected you.

my friend got rejected also. hehe...he said that he took to long on the drug use question and that's why they think he rejected him.
