applecare for ibook never used, can i still use it?

i found a applecare protection plan that was for a ibook. as far as i know it was never activated but the warranty on my ibook, and now i'm guessing anyibook is over is it worth anything or can it be used with a dift apple product?

Unless you really want it to cover the iBook; it should also be good for any MacBook.
