Assuming it was even real. There are plenty of people out there that dislike Apple to the point where they would get a used iPhone and put it in the microwave just to pretend like they are an actual Apple user that believed in wave and tried it.

Guess what I didn't have when I was 11. Anything worth anywhere near $600.

And I could tell when something on the internet was fake, so I had that going for me.
