I hate it when all these guys have to contribute is a link to another thread or another forum. I think it fits as I don't read the stinking software forums and was actually interested in this same question.

Now that my rant is over.

I'm not sure. I guess a Mac has it's place with those that want to just USE their computers and not worry about tweaking it or making it do more or anything like that. Like for multimedia creation, music stuff, and video (movie) work. Other than that the available content looks pretty slim. I took a look at one of their laptops. Looked pretty slick, but I'm more of an AMD+PC fan, so I doubt I'll be switching anytime soon.

So THAT must be why my windows box is constantly always crashing on me.....really GREAT compadible hardware drivers for my devices...

Just to let you know, in terms of compadibility, linux does a better job at it then Microsoft.
