Apple Tuesday

Is it just me or has Apple released something new every Tuesday for this whole month? What do you think is coming next Tuesday? On the last Tuesday of the month?

If they release new MBP's would you buy it or wait for the Centrino 2 chips in the summer?

Apple notebooks aren't Centrino because the wireless cards have Atheros chipsets and not Intel ones.

They do use the same chipsets and processors.

Yes and no.

Since Apple uses the same chipset and processor as the Centrino, but a different wireless card, you can expect them to follow suit with the Centrino 2.

However, as to Apple's release schedule.... their switch to intel does allow us to infer better when changes will occur, but we are stil mainly in the dark.

It could be that Apple is waiting for a beefier/cooler/<insert other word here> graphics card to drop into the MBP in order to make it a decent upgrade, or they may be waiting for the next processor altogether... we simply do not know.
