I dont think apples are over priced, their like $10 for big assorted bag of them.

If you dont like buying apples, plant a couple of apple trees in your yard.
 
Passwords are still encrypted. Not good that they got that far, but without a hash key to decrypt them that information isn't very harmful.
 
Apple gets hacked all the time. Part of the reason why they aren't very common in the enterprise environments.
