And of course M$ would NEVER incorporate such a feature since they are all about shrinking their users' privacy on the net.

Yeah, thats one of the first things I do is lockdown Firefox so that I can go to sensitive sites like PayPal and others.

You can do that with IE as well I'm pretty sure, but I don't know if it works quite as well.

That's a pretty nice feature actually. I use Maxthon which I have set to clear history items after exiting. Anything not cleaned out there can be cleaned in ccleaner (free util), if I felt it necessary. Of course neither of those options would be useful in a public kiosk but then again, I doubt you'd be using Apple Safari in a public kiosk and further, if you are in a public kiosk your surfing really isn't all that private anyway.

He he he. That's cool. I've been wanting to try out a Mac. I don't know when I will ever do it though.

But neither had the ballz to make it a default option!

Why would you need that?? Maybe your typical FireFox user isn't some geek still living with his parents at 22 yo, and actually doesn't need this. I have no reason to hide where I go or where I've been. But I guarentee someone has written an extension for FireFox somewhere that works better, and has more options then this any way.

So YAHH for all you losers still living at home with your parents, perhaps if you built your own AMD box instead of buying a Mac in the first place, you would have had money to move out on your own. Then you wouldn't need this any way. :p

FAQ on how to do this?

Still waiting on the FAQ for this.
Umm, I don't use FF that much.

Though If you go into Tools > options > privacy and set everything to zero that will take care of it.

I would imagine by now there is some extension to do this as well.

For the record, I don't live at home. But even living at my own place, I would keep this mode on at all times, surfing for pr0n or not. The marketing bastards don't need any information from me that I am unwilling to directly provide.

Shush, can't you see we're fellating Apple here?

LoL. Who me?

Any way, this looks pretty cool

Although it doesn't say it works with the latest version of FF, someone try it out and let us know. They may have the updated version on their homepage, which you can go to from that link.

Hey and check it out, get this extension to pretend that your using Opera. LoL. That is hilarious.

Wait a minute though. FireFox pretty much eliminates spyware, I seriously haven't had any since I started using it aside from a few tracking cookies. Any other spyware I can remember finding were from Applications that I knowingly installed with Spyware.

So if you use FireFox, you don't get spyware. How are these marketing bastards goign to get your history information without some sort of spyware? So once again, using FireFox eliminates this problem, and the need to have this functionality.

I'm also under the impression that spyware is almost impossibe to get on a Mac, so once again, that would be a pointless reason to need this functionality on a Mac.
