worked fine on my mbp. cant wait for snow leopard!

when we get SL, is it going to be upgradeable over our existing OS X 10.5.x installs? i.e. won't need to wipe the whole drive and install from scratch

Yep.

I finally got around to updating. One misfire later (bad things happen when you put Disabler.kext in the wrong place) and I'm good to go.

Unfortunately it looks like the damned bug in Login Items for hiding automounted volumes is back. My network shares are popping open on login again.:|

Okay, this is an interesting problem/issue.

I have a MacBook Pro v. 4.1. Just updated to 10.5.8

On Battery, wireless speeds drop to below 1 MB/s
On AC everything is fine, wireless speeds are back where they should be.

How does that make any sense???

Anybody have the same problem?

Some times I think the computer gods have it out for me!

Thanks!

Same problem here. Found lots of other people with the same issue too on the Apple forums.

It worked for me.

Got my P5K Premium updated to 10.5.8 (2 reboots) using Kext Pack for MAC OSX. Original install was a XXX 10.5.6 universal final choosing all the necessary kexts/drivers.
