What's funny is that the internal investigations didn't bear any fruit. It must've been like, 9 men and 1 woman on that investigation panel, with the sole woman being the muse or wife of a guy on the same panel and they would meet up and joke about stuff, have lunch on company time and finished until the next time they had to do the same, maybe months later. When they saw that the "bitch" just wouldn't shut up, they had no choice but to hire a third party coz there was no way they were going to decide in the "bitch's" favor and secretly hoped that the third party firm would find no merit in the dispute. Much to their chagrin, the firm ruled in the bitch's favor so the only way they could get back at her was to withhold all her former rightful payments.

NOTE: Word "bitch" used to describe the sentiment of the Apple investigation committee regarding the "problematic" woman.

Well, this part of the article seems to support the lawsuit.
It does indeed.
I have no love for apple. The only apple product I own is a tablet that was a gift, and I use it exclusively as a kindle reader. That said, I don't feel apple owes me anything, and I don't care how much they charge for their products. If someone is dumb enough to pay a 500% premium for an apple product they were likely going to blow that money anyway.

Very true. But I think we should do something about companies that tend to attract sheep and then change the course of humanity, for the worse.

Simple. Don't buy their products. I never have, and seem to get along fine.
Works for Apple, or any other company.

I've never owned an iphone, mac, or any apple product except their ipads. Those I like.

If you are or know a woman in a professional field they all have anecdotes like the story in the article.

My wife has the same degree I do and we work in similar areas. She has stories about BS that happens to her that has never happened to me.

A good example, she was the engineering manager for her group. They needed an outside contractor to perform some work. One of the leading candidates sent a guy in to in to talk about the work and pricing they could provide.

The guy introduced himself to the men in the room and not her. He ignored most questions she asked and the ones he did answer were directed to my wife’s male chief engineer.

Since the recommendation to hire them was hers, karma was swift. It still wasted her entire teams afternoon because the guy couldn’t handle answering technical questions from a woman.
