Ive had an ipod since they first came out and many other to replace each other. Also use iphone but no bose products.

my car has stock bose speakers - what option should i vote for?

oh, and i have an iphone but an android tablet.

and a dell laptop with OSX on it.

the speakers i own for my HT blow bose out of the water though.

where do i fit in?

I bought Bose bookshelf speakers in 1996 or so when I was in HS and didn't know any better. I still have them. They're at work in my office.

Apple....wife gave me a 30gb iPod years ago which is great for the car. I bought a used 80gb iPod so there would be one in each car. Last year I bought a refurb iPad 4 for the wife as there are some apps she was interested in that aren't available for Android. Does that make me an Apple sheep?

My son has an ipod touch and we bought him a Bluetooth sound system for Christmas. I think it is JBL, it is small, easy to carry around, charges quickly and can even charge his ipod and it sounds decent. They had Bose crap for about $20 less but the bass sounded boomy. The sales goon at Best Buy was pushing the Bose shit but I just didn't think it sounded as good.

It synchs up easily with the ipod touch via Bluetooth and couldn't be easier to use.

So, yes to Apple. No to Bose.

No Bose about it. Pioneer AV, couple of Koss bookshelf speakers, three Centrios bookshelf speakers, and a Sony woofer. Grado SR-60 headphones, which I love and highly recommend for the price.

Despite the kneejerk Apple hate, when I went to buy a portable MP3 player years ago, Apple's 120 GB iPod was the cheapest model with that capacity -- cheaper than MS' Zune and Archos. A great product and no "Apple Tax."

RIP iPod Classic line (mine still works great).

No, I don't own any Bose or Monster junk.

When I was a kid, my dad bought an Apple 2 E. He still has it, in his garage, amongst a heaping pile of obselete 486 and pentium machines he likes to keep for no good reason. Also, my fiancee won an I pad in some raffle.

Does that qualify me as an apple owner?

Also, my father has a Bose "wave radio" that he was obsessed with for a while like 15-20 years ago.

I've got a Bose Wave Radio connected to an Airport Express, that I stream music to from time to time. For what it is, it does a pretty decent job of filling a room with sound.

I have an iPhone, a rMBP, and an iPad. I don't have any Bose stuff, but my father has a Mellotron connected to an old Bose speaker and it sounds fantastic.

It should be noted that Apple kicked Bose out of its stores briefly.

Bose was suing a company Apple had recently acquired for patent infringement.
