Apple online store and developer sites are down

Developer is still there and active. Store has gone as it has been merged with the Apple site.

Which is rather awful, I find. It's making it a lot harder to find things for sale.
 
Yes I really don't like the loss of that store. Makes shopping inconvenient.

And does this mean the intarnets can't exclaim "The Apple Store is down!!!1" anymore?
