I've been having some trouble getting my ipod connected to itunes. For some reason the apple mobile device service will not start.

I have been able to sync successfully up until about 2 weeks ago. I saw that there was an update for itunes so I decided to install it hoping it would fix the issue. It didn't. I've been through apples uninstall steps to uninstall itunes and its components completely several times but no dice.

Any ideas? I've tried googling around but haven't come across anything in the past couple days.

Thanks, Vyx
