Apple launches new music sevice

Currently it's Mac only sense it is built into iTunes, but a Windows version will be ready by the end of this year.

That's crazy. To buy a whole album is the same as it is in a store.

Personally, I could live without owning any of the songs if the rest of the album wasn't good.

I stay usually stay away from pop so I rarely end up w/the "only one good song out of 15" problem, but I'm starting to get nestalgic<sp?> in my old age and this would be rather cheap way to build my collection of "best of the worst 80's songs"

I'd rather pay $0.99 for them than pirate them.

I think Apple has the right idea here. It will certainly be interesting once they get it moved onto the PC platform

Albums are less than the collective cost of the tracks.

Most records are $9.99. You get the album art in iTunes and you can burn the album whenever you want.
