Helluva lot of rebates to deal with, but if you have the patience and you can't get a student discount from the apple store, nice deal. :thumbsup: OP
 
Wow, I didn't even know Apple had an educational discount and I've been a higher educational student for 7 years now! Its a 10% discount for students enrolled in or accepted to U.S. higher education institutions. That would bring the ipod mini to $179 shipped with free engraving at apple web site.
