Amazon.com still has the old version of the 10GB iPod for $349, shipped free, no tax in most states.

Of course, no free case, etc... and if you were to buy the case and remote at the Apple Store (they come with the new touch sensitive one), you would pay an additional $50-70.

But... if you don't need those, this is still a good deal.
 
I just bought an open box 5gb version for my daughter's birthday for $235, only to suddenly realize that it is the Mac version. I was going to buy Xplay online for $23.

How do I go about converting it to a Windows version?

Me too. That's the story of my life, always too late for the good deals, and I'll always find a better price after I buy something.
 
CDW is selling the 5 gb ipod for $209 however these are B stock. I guess these means they are returns or refurbished but I'm not sure. Link
 
B Stock items are items that are opened but not used and returned. Like if they sent the wrong item to the person and they returned it. I think. Don't quote me on that tho. 🙂

10 GB is $240

if the item is just opened than this is smokin hot

i emailed them about warranty information and stuff like that but wont get a reply till tomorrow
 
Apple is very good with their warranty. If you get one that is broken you might be able to exchange it with Apple for a new one. You might even get lucky and get the newer version as a replacement.
