Will iPad 2 be release on February 9th? There more new features added in iPad 2 compared with iPad.
New features of Apple iPad 2:
1. Dual-core CPU
2. Tow cameras
3. Come with 3 version: CDMA, UMTS, and WiFi
4. Equipped with USB Port
5. iPad SD or iPad SIM
what's that mean?
any solid info that the ipad 2 is really being release on the 9th.
I think I'm gonna sit this one out. Hopefully the iPad 3 will have a retina display and a quad core processor. The iPad is super responsive...until you try and load a web page. Then you realize how underpowered it really is.

Really? My iPad is super responsive on web pages. I have no trouble at all surfing.
An iPad with a Retina screen would be absolutely incredible. But yeah, they're definitely gonna have to ramp up the CPU to handle that kind of resolution. But oh how gorgeous apps would be! I think they'd also need to integrate resolution independence - reading a webpage at a resolution of 2048 × 1536 on a 10" screen would make my eyes melt D:
The current iPad is underpowered. RAM and CPU. The iPad 2 should be significantly faster, or at least it'd better be. Not fast, but my guess it will be OK for most people assuming it truly gets a dual-core 1 GHz ARM CPU and faster video acceleration.
Loading the anandtech home page takes a full 6 seconds on the iphone 4, which is only slightly underclocked compared to the ipad. My experience is about the same. Even on the dual core optimus it takes 5 seconds. On my 4 year old core 2 duo? Under a second. So fast you couldnt reliably time it, on the same 30mbps wifi-N node as the iOS devices. And even though it feels way too slow for windows, even a single core atom will smoke an iPad on actual page render speed.
Oh, and make it weigh about half as much. Till then, my iPad 1 will do just fine.
I always figured some of this came from trade offs made with the wifi antenna having to do with power/battery life vs. speed.
