I cant believe the butthurt this video is causing. I have no grudge or anything against Apple and think they make nice stuff and I find the video funny

Yeah their stuff is decent quality in construction, but usually trash spec wise on the desktop front, laptops are okay. Their latest mobile SoC is also decent.

Apple still is basically fisher price computers for adults though.

Apple hired on a lot of old AMD engineers and now all of them are back at AMD rolling out brand new shit.
 
That laugh is contagious. I got a smile on my face everytime I see this. The Hitler/untergang videos were also pretty good.

I was also thinking about upgrading the wife's Air with this one, but I think we'll go with that new Dell or a Surface instead. No USB = no sale.

I'm just hoping that the iWatch and this new Macbook are massive commercial flops and a bit of a heatcheck for Apple. This macbook in particular annoys me with the pure ego driven desire to strip it of any functional use and pursue nothing but vanity and some dimension spec sheet bragging.

Yeah, you can hope for that but we all know they will sell millions of these things. I saw one analyst state that the Apple Watch will take Apple's net worth over a trillion dollars. I hear they might have to start paying income tax if that happens.
 
In all seriousness, Apple hires some of the best engineers around. And they pay for it too. Even if the design decisions don't target the AT audience, they hit the nail on the head when it comes to 90% of consumers.

You said it yourself. Their target is not AT. It is for certain people who put simplicity over specs. People who don't care about specs and these machines show that via their shit screen and single port.
