Apple discontinues iMac

According to eWeek, a new model will be coming out in its place.

So essentially it's not really a discontinuation, just a new generation of an 'iMac-like' computer.

they dont manufacture the ipods... what they do is design it..

He never said they manufacturer iPods. And anyway, they do manufacturer the iPods - their factory in China does it 😛

Their store has them, but it says they are not taking any more orders. New ones will be out in September.

We were planning on having our next generation iMac ready by the time the inventory of the current iMacs run out in the next few weeks, but our planning was obviously less than perfect.
