I just had a problem with my Itunes account(forgot the answers to security questions:oops:) and had to call Apple to get it straightened out. Well, she had to ask me some security questions and one of them was the serial number for the device I registered. I had no idea I had a Apple device registered. Stupid me forgot to ask her about that before I hung up.

Is there a way I can find out what device is registered? I looked under my account and could not find anything. I have no idea what the device is, I do not even own an Apple product, at least I don't think I do.

Also, Itunes says that there are 3 computers authorized to play content purchased with my Apple ID. As far as I know, this is the only computer used to play the purchased content. Will it count every time you reinstall Windows as a new computer?

To answer your final question, yes, every time you reinstall Windows it uses an activation. You can de-authorize older systems through the account settings in teh iTunes Store.

Even though Windows was reinstalled on the same computer, iTunes still looks at it as a different computer?

Any idea about the first question? Most likely I will call them up again.

Has a list of all the Apple Devices registered to my account, even one that was stolen last year. Wish Apple would add the ability to report stolen devices, so you can find out when the person registers it with a new account, and therefore who they are. Would be trivial to do for them, besides the drama of people falsely reporting devices stolen for spite.

Yes, iTunes authorizations are per OS install, not per device. They dont always have a way of recognizing hardware individually, just OS installs. Easiest way to clear things up is unauthorize all devices, then start over. You can do this once per year.

According to that link, I do not have any devices registered. But according to the person I talked to from Apple, I do have a device registered.
