APPLE CINEMA DISPLAY FOR PC, who has done this successfully

I am interested in getting an apple cinema display to work on my p.c. I know that I can buy a ADC to DVI adapter and than hook up a DVI to VGA adapter does anyone know if this works?

Please post your methods or suggestions..

the newest ones can not be hooked up to the adapters and work anymore (sigh)

those are the most beautiful monitors known to man.

This is &quot;affordable&quot; (not ridiculous!). About $5k street.
