Seriously though. If Jon ran for president would he not stand a chance? How many celebs would rally around him? The left part of the democratic party? He'd be killing it.

I mean, he's smarter and more personable than most politicians and he can run circles around every single one in front of a camera. He'd probably be a shoe-in if he dedicated himself to some specific popular policies he wanted to implement and just beat that drum the whole campaign while otherwise just being himself.

I just heard this phrase in a movie last night, "All politicians are destined to fail" so I don't think Jon Stewart would be able to do much. A single person cannot change things for the better. His entire team would need to be like him and laser focused on the same objectives. There are many decisions that may seem right at the time but later blow up in the face of the decision maker. Running a country is hard.
