I'd settle with a Creative, thanks....

ditto...

this may be hot for people who like to take random 240 song subsets of their complete mp3 library while they go jogging, but other than that the no lcd screen is crippling.

Look for a feature in the next version of iTunes that lets you create random setlists designed to fit on the iPod Shuffle, and you can specify artists, genres, or star-ratings.

this player has no appeal to me personally, but lets keep potentially flame inducing comments to ourselves so this does not turn into another 5 page long debate. not that your comments were over the top, its just that mac/ipod zealots can be scary at times 🙂

Does anybody know if this will double as a "usb Drive" to store anything I shovel into it. Like photos, drivers, or small progs. Quote"it shows up as a drive " from http://www.russellbeattie.com/notebook/1008237.html">http://www.russellbeattie.com/notebook/1008237.html</a>">RussellBeattie.com </a>http://www.russellbeattie.com/notebook/1008237.html review.

I was considering the mini or reg 20gig ipod. And this I said NO to, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. Looks like it maybe better for excerising/running B cuz its Solid state, Not a harddrive. Or is this a issue with the mini... skipping while running???

P.S. Why do my "http" shortcuts keep coming up as "microsoft.com" ?!@? uuggghhh!

Since it's with a GC isn't it YMMV or is it easy obtain for free?

I'm in if I can get it for $135. My HiPod isn't good for the gym, but this will great for 1 - 3 hours.

edit: I see now. They give you a $15 gift cert for spending $150. $30 for spending $250.....
