Since im up in Canada, I have a difficult time finding Dell coupon codes.. So as far as I know, I'll have to pay full price.. (All prices quoted in CND)..

The Dell UltraSharp 2005FP goes for $949.00
The Apple 20" Display is $999, but with my student discount is $899..

Both have free shipping..

So the Apple is winning right now, being $49 less.. (I have read the AT Compairison of the Apple 20" and 2005FPW)

Maybe someone can point me to where I can find some Dell coupons for Dell Canada?

And will either of these work with my 7500 :(

Either should work with your 7500 as long as it has a DVI output (well, you could use VGA too, but would you really want to?). Even though the prices are similar in your case, I'd still recommend the Dell....It has several advantages over the Apple, those being more video inputs, height-adjustable stand, and the ability to rotate to portrait mode...

Both monitors use the same panel so their performance specs shouldn't differ.

While the Dell is cheaper ($599 vs. $799), get the Apple display. I know people that have been through 4 or 5 2005fpw's because of dead pixels and bad backlights. Read any forum and you will find the same. If I were you I would buy the Apple display.

Anandtech did a revieww of just these two display a while ago. Search for it. I think the Dell one is better
