Just tried Popeye's wicked chicken and was thoroughly unimpressed...wish I could have had a double big mac instead:colbert:

Strange the USA doesn't have double big macs yet your large drinks are roughly the size of an olympic swimming pool.

They also have the Ebi Filet-O, or at least they did when I was there. I don't eat McDonald's pretty much ever, but I enjoyed that one.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but it's my thread and I'm bumping it with an update. I went on the same Japan trip for work this year and poked my head in to McD's to see this Mega Mac in person... but it wasn't there! Must have been a limited run or something.

I was a little sad honestly

That Mega Mac looks amazing. I wouldn't trust Americans to not contaminate it and give me food poisoning, but if by some chance I ever found myself in Japan I wouldn't hesitate to have one. A shame that they are no more. :(

I remember being in Tokyo last winter. There was a 24 hour McDs right next to our hotel and they had an awesome deal of 1 cheeseburger for 100 YEN. Good times after clubbing all night, good times.

To be fair, I found the the quality of McDs in Japan to be much better than the US. Something about US beef just doesn't sit right with me. Guess I'm just used to Aussie beef (best in the world!!).

That's pretty much normal price for one, at least here in the US... right now 100 yen = $1.06 USD.

I usually just get a McDouble since it's also $1, but meh.

I just build one myself with two double cheeseburgers and a side salad with mac sauce as the dressing. It costs less than a regular big mac too. Mega Mac Gourmet.

*you can't see it clearly in this pic, but there are 4 juicy meat patties and 4 gooey slices of cheese here.

Would you have difficulty biting into that? I would have trouble fitting it into my mouth. One of the reasons why I never get double whoppers, they are too big. Just get two big macs

$2 here in Aus. It was more so that Jap food is insanely expensive lol (well I found it to be).

The buns compress really well. But ya, I usually just make two macs with that. :)

Japan is big on limited time offers.

We still have double big mac and angus third pounder.

The MegaMac should have been promoted in the states because of our American arrogance deserves such an item. All hail MegaMac!
