I'm pro war and pro defense of America, but the facts are very clear. The intelligence was borked and the reasons we were sold on were fabrications and deserve to be looked at in deeper detail. Now if Bush came out and said he wanted to rid the world of the tyrant and wanted to establish a US presence in the Middle East to disrupt the Al Queda networks, more Americans would have supported this war.

Doubtfully, they would have told him to F'off. I don't see how that would have been in the National interest of the US. Aftgan one thing, Iraq another.
