try switching from auto to 2.5-2-2-10 and see how far you can go, also try upping your memory voltage. Its probably running at 2.5 and you are not likley to get far with those timings at 2.5, 2.7 or 2.8 should help a lot.

Put your SATA Drive on Port 3 or 4

Also try putting your HT from 4x to 3x, raise the vcore to 1.6v, and try your memory at 2.8v and try 8,9 or 10 as the multiplier.

See what kind of results you get then.

you have 2 PSU's right.....plug the 350W one into the Mobo as normal and then plug the second PSU into the HD's, CD,s and use it to power the graphics card via the molex....that should provide plenty power......don't know if this is safe or not...just a random thought!

That is very good advice. I'd also set everything up manually with timings a bit conservative since it won't effect performance noticably, increase all the voltages, and lower the HTT/LDT multiplier as suggested.

I ran Sandra for the first time since I tried overclocking the computer and had to restart during the Cache and Memory Benchmark.

I ran Memtest (not 86) and I got my first error on pass 84. Do I have bad memory? Or is it because the PSU is bad, I get bad memory performance?

I'm running 3 HDs, A64 2800+ at 260fsb, dvd writer, 1gig ballistix, and geforce 6800GT (oc'd to 400/1100) on a thermaltake 480W with no stability issues whatsoever. The thermaltake 480 provides plenty of juice. Dropping an extra 50$ for something more powerful than the 480 is a complete waste unless you're using a TON of power.

Thanks guys for the advice. I'll try those suggestions when I get home from work.

I did notice that the rails on the 480W were a lot more stable. When I installed the Antec 350W the rails were jumping all over the place. I'll put the 480 back in and see what happens.

3DMark 2005 ran and I was punished by a 3933 score. 2003 ran and I got 11291.

This is AWESOME!!

Thanks guys!

-I swapped out the 350W and put the 480W back in.
-put the SATA HD on Slot 3
-upped the memory voltage 2.7v
-set the memory timings to 2.5-2-2-10 2T
-lowered HT to 3x from 4x

Thanks a lot everyone for all the advice. I haven't tried a higher FSB yet at least I know my system wasn't defective.
