Over the past week I have wrote in many questions about upgrading my computer. I have been told that people are getting annoyed with all my posts related to that. For this I am sorry. I hope that I have enough information now to go ahead and upgrade parts in my system

And once again I would just like to say sorry

Consolidation is the key.... try to jam a few related questions in the same thread.

This place is a wealth of information.... though sometimes you gotta' follow the unwritten rules. ;) Just keep comin' in.... ask questions politely when you have them, answer others when you can help, and this place will be one good member better than it was before. ;)

Don't be afraid to post questions, but as stated try to heap them together and give a full list of hardware/software when asking.

No apology needed.

The above advice is good for sure, but there is something else too. Often, the questions you want to ask have been asked already. Unless you are the first to know about or have a piece of gear of course... Search for related threads. Even if the exact question you'd like to ask wasn't the opening post in a thread, it is likely that pertinent information can be found. I get a lot of answers in that way myself, I'd be a Lifer by now otherwise. :)

On my build, I lurked many different message boards gathering tips. I book marked pages, and went back to them during the build. I searched yahoo to get more info about each product, and went to the manufacturer site to get even more detail downloading manuals and reading thru them. I didn't have to ask any questions on the message boards, and my computer is up and running.
