Ditching jobs and families, a group that believes the end is near sets out to warn others. 😱
They claim Judgment Day is coming on May 21 and the world will end five months later.
The Bible guarantees this, say loyal listeners of Family Radio, a Christian broadcasting ministry.
Loaded up in RVs, they travel across the South and face off with drunken pirates in Florida.

drunken pirates in FL? WTF?!

Update:
Day of Rapture (5/21/11) has come and gone.
It appears not many people went to heaven.
Next up is 10/21/11 when all others are going to Hell.

Too late to repent sinners!

No. It doesn't.

—Matthew 24:36-44:
But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God - Luke 9:27

They're wearing sweatshirts and other clothing announcing the "Awesome News," that Judgment Day is coming on May 21. On that day, people who will be saved will be raptured up to heaven. The rest will endure exactly 153 days of death and horror before the world ends on October 21. That message is splashed across their five sleek, vinyl-wrapped RVs, bearing this promise: "The Bible guarantees it!"

What the hell? The world is coming to an end on my 33rd birthday? That sucks. 🙁

Dude, You can't just quote one line from the bible that says what you want when we all know that the bible is perfectly capable of saying the exact opposite a few chapters later...

Boy, there're gonna be be disappointed once they figure out how retarded they were for ditching everything they had.

That's why the Bible truly is the book of truth. It says anything and everything, all at once, depending on which lines you cherry pick. It's kind of like the quantum computer of books.

I lol at the eagerness to die these people show. If they want die so bad, why dont they drop what they're doing and go to Africa or the Middle East and preach this crap?

I laughed when I read about the billboards depicting this. I laughed harder when I was reminded that it was the same day that I'll be attending Detroit's Race for the Cure.

We've got these billboards up around town. I assume they'll be disappointed, just like Jehovah's Witnesses did after they repeatedly forecast the second coming, only to be disappointed.

A recipe for the apocalypse :

At the moment that god watched the cnn news broadcast he asked himself :
What went wrong ?
I mutated life for them to give them a brain to think for themselves.
And what do they do ?
They do not use it...
And seriously starts thinking about pressing the "DELete" button.
Then to press the "ConTRL evolution" button.
To end with the "ALTernative intelligent life form" button.

😱

How can God The Father know something that God The Son doesn't, even though they're supposed to be the same entity?

I was JW then, fun times for all.

These guys are Religious Hippies.

This is why Isaac Newton spent so much of his life studying and writing about the Bible.....reading his Principia is quite interesting and revealing in his study of the Bible.
