Great picture at a great price, bought one today and I already love it.
I had been primarily looking at 27 inch tv's but at this price why not get a flat 32 inch.
I can't say enough about the picture of this tv espically considering the price.

Also Sam club offers a one year service plan for $15 and a three year for $40

Pretty schweet deal IMHO

What are the chances of finding a better deal on Black Friday? I was considering waiting... but this is pretty nice.

I was just about to buy one of these from BB for about $375 in store.

Are these available B&M??? I'll have to go check tomorrow hopefully.

A guy who serviced my Sony TV said don't ever buy a Apex TV. His company dropped servicing them all together.

To me it's pretty hot.

Everyone is going to have their own opinion about the brand, it's definately "cheap"

CRT tubes are only made at two factories that I can think of, so it's up to the rest of the components being up to par for the system to work well.

90day warranty is kinda lame though

Just picked up a HDTV flat 27" at bestbuy today for $360!!

Bestbuy has an Advent 27 HDTV for $399, but with a 10% coupon expiring today, sorry, it came out to $360. Was driving up 95, so I stopped in Delaware, and didn't have to pay sales tax! Good thing I have a mustang convertible. No way I could have loaded it into a coupe 🙂

I've been watching that tv. tobad it doesn't have DVI inputs or I would be all over it for a HTPC setup

Aztech,
I was in the Aurora CO Sam's last week. The TV is definitely an Apex
Just do a google search on Apex PF3220 or Apex PF3230. I did not catch the model number at Sam's but it's one or the other. Model number is taken from Sam's web link above.

Can you explain this one? The volume of the broadcast or the actual noise of the TV itself?

I dunno exactly what they were talking about but....I do notice that the sound on mine fluctuates wildly between channels and source....really the only knock on this sucker......Once I get a good HTIB I'll pretty pleased with my setup

The sound quality is great for a cheap TV, but it's too loud unless you're watching a DVD (which has a dynamic audio range).

For $40 additional, the 3 year extended warranty is a real bargain.

Your first major out-of-warranty repair could easily cost more than half the cost of a new set.

Has anyone dealt with Sams club warranties. Man I need a new TV.🙂

this thread is about a month old, but was brought up back from the dead 🙂

it's been hovering at this price, I don't see it getting much better anytime soon.
