APC 350VA Battery Backup, shade over $10 after PM and MIR

Staples PM for week of 8/4:

APC 350 VA Battery backup, provides 5 minutes to backup power to safely shut down computers in outage:

Go to Staples (item #474045) sale price of $24.94, and have them PM with OfficeMax's (item #2006-2968) sale price of $19.99. Get 110% PM ($5.45), which takes it down to $19.49 + tax. Then use $10 MIR to get this for around $10.50 AR. Not too shabby for a backup for your computer if you are using it when the power goes out.

Even a better deal if it can be merged with another online order, so coupon can be used...anybody have any ideas?

Checked on the threads under APC and backup, didn't find anything...if this is a duplicate, feel free to lock..

IIRC, you need $50 to get free ship, and at least $40 to use a coupon. Potentially hot if you're combining stuff though.

not a bad deal, but this very week you could have got the 500VA version for the same price. $49.99 in store, $10 coupon (no hassle), and $30 rebate. True you need to wait for a $30 rebate, but it's Staples and they're pretty reliable.

Too bad it's over tonight, but it will probably come back. I think 300/350 are only deals if they're FAR like the CC/OM Pricematch deal a couple weeks ago.

I have this UPS, and I would only consider it sufficient for running a computer without a monitor.

Or rather, I should say that I have 3 of these UPS's, one each for my two computers and monitor. It's fine for that, and for $20 X 3, it would be the equivalent of a 1050VA UPS--and those are usually in the $125-175 pricerange. Using multiples also gets you a bunch of extra outlets--although it is damn loud when you have a power outage and three UPS's have their whistle-alarms go off.

YMWV... my Staples in Palm Bay will not price match when a mail-in-rebate is involved.

I picked a few of these up for $25 last month. They work great for me because 99% of our power bumps are only for a few seconds.

Officemax has them listed for $40. Looked all over there site and the ad's there and no where does it show its on sale. Also I can't find the apc battery backup unit on the staples site. Is this b&m only? Thanks.

I would be interested in this too, I can't find the UPS on sale. What would be the number I could have them look up if I called my local store? I was thinking about having Circuit City price match them since I don't have a Staples near by.

Thanks
-Matt
