Please state your location as well

$1095 here for a 2 br/2 ba in Richmond, VA

includes water

Moving to California soon where my rent will jump to $1500 for a 1 br/1 ba

Man am I glad I don't rent anymore. Hell, my mortgage payment is probably cheaper than most of you guys pay for rent.

I don't want the hassle of homeownership at this time. I split everything with my roommate (I pay $450 for rent/month).

$1300 2bd/1ba. no utilities. no dishwasher, no disposal. located on Highway 1 in CA.

edit: this is severly UNDER market value for the area, BTW. we have a nice old lady landlord who feels guilty if she charges what the apartment is worth. but don't let that fool you. it's not a nice apartment. it's just THAT expensive to live here.

Hey you should all be happy. At least you have a bedroom in your apartment! $340/mo Central Illinois. One room... as soon as I graduate I am getting out of there.

525$, studio, Albany NY.
Comes with all utilities (including internet).

I don't like owning stuff anyway, so am happy with the small space. Building is 120 years old, which I'm less happy about. Walking distance to work and a gym with a pool, though.

my SIL is looking at a apartment (can't afford her 3k trailer anymore... sigh). she looked at a 3 bedroom apartment it was $850 and a 2 bedroom was $750! damn im onlypaying $900 for my mortgage!

Last year I was paying $415 monthly for 594 sq.ft.

I only paid for my electricity, though heat was paid. Low, low winter energy bill and extra high summer bills.

Oh yeah .... Cincinnati.

my old apartment in downtown Dallas (lived there from 1997-2003) was $840 a month for 675 sq ft (no utilites included)...it was a 5 minute walk to the American Airlines Center where the Mavericks and Stars play...was really sweet since I was a Stars season ticket holder back then...

that same apartment is now $200 more a month because of all the developement activity next to the arena...

If I lived in Kansas I'd own a home too and the mortgage would be about half of what I pay a month in rent.

Too bad I have no interest in living in the mid-west 🙁

$1463 a month in Downtown LA. I'm moving to Skid Row for $800 for a 250 sq ft room when my lease expires. Need to save some money some I can buy a house in some third world country

3br/1ba
Hamilton, ON
$1050

Utilities: I work for the Cable company so $40 for 14MBPS Hispeed Internet, $10 for VoIP, Digital cable is free.

No idea about power, and water is free.

I'm surprised at the amount of people that get utilities included in rent. you do not see that much around here.

1 bedroom/1 bath
Only utilities I have to pay for are electricity and cable (cable modem & digital cable)
Denver, CO (near Denver Tech Center)
$400 a month

Older building but not too old (built in the late 70s or early eighties) and well maintained. Pretty much everything I want within walking distance (pool, grocery store, liquor store, exercise, etc.)

815/month + utilities, 1bd/1ba, 752 sq ft.

Litchfield Park, AZ

Well, at least, thats where I will be moving to next week.
