The APUSH exam was a piece of cake. I was just an average student, and I pulled off a 4 on my exam with only 30-60 minutes of studying.

i just took my ab calc test today... i did pretty good i think, escpecially cause i studied just 3 days after a 3 month layoff... should be level 5 😛

l went to a few review sessions after school and I scored at least 55% on all the practice exams I took so I should be in good shape. I don't really agree with the concept of studying so I'm as ready as I'm gonna be. Just wish the test wasn't on my birthday

I took it last year...i was making 90% consistently on the MCs, though even that wasn't necessary, b/c our DBQ was on the New Deal...imagine that, the new deal! Man it was great...they even had this political cartoon that had a whole bunch of programs drawn on it, so you just looked at the drawing, drummed up some details, and you won a 5.

Anyhow, I'd say physics C is probably one of the more difficult APs. History isn't hard as long as you know the material...it requires more a good memory than anything else.

Good luck and happy test taking! I've got AP English Literature tomorrow...that'll be death. I got a 5 on language, but the lit MC practices are killing me (50% right when im lucky...)

Heh, I scored over 90% raw on practice exams. It's an easy test, don't worry too much. It's not like the test changes drastically year to year (unlike calculus & 1st year they allowed graphing calcs, oh the horror).

lol, I dont' think they should allow graphing calculators...it gives people who are clueless a bit of a score boost. Though, if you really want a challenge, take the calculator section with a scientific calculator...I did b/c my calculator wouldn't turn on (turns out one of my friends took 2 batteries out as a joke but forgot to give them back...)

I got a 5 in 1996 (8 years?!? I'm getting old). It was a tough test, but I received 6 hours of US history credit in college.

i should go harass my sister, she's taking it tomorow. hehehehe.

i got a five on it in 98. wooee so long ago...

she's taking ap chem also, but apparently she's more worried about apush. the nerd.

I took it last year and scored a four. I didn't really perform as well as I should have in the class, and a 4 is good just about anywhere, so I was happy with it.

If you had a good teacher its not that bad. If you had a good teacher and studied, you should get a 5.

WTH? No way...I took Calc AB and got a 2. And by the time I was done with it, my brain honestly felt like it'd been through a dishwasher.

Social sciences forever! 🙂

i'm opposite of you... got a 2 on American History, but got a 5 on Calculus AB

I still have nightmares of the DBQ 7 years later 😱

The DBQ is much easier now. The year I took it, they told us the topic before the test. And it was something as ridiculously easy as FDR's new deal thingamajigger.

Took my AP world history test yesterday...I think I did horrible (live and learn I guess, I should've given myself more time than 5 days). Good Luck

Yeah, they used to give you the topic of the DBQ before you took the test. This year, no hints, no nothing 🙁

I bet it's going to be something about a Supreme Court case or something though.

how does the AP system work??

so if you PASS a certain AP subject, you dont have to take it in college again??

<---- did not go to a US High SChool

You take the class as any normal class but it is on a different point scale. For example, an A in an AP class is worth 6 points instead of 4 and it scales etc. If you pass the AP exam you get college credit for the course (i.e. you don't have to take it in college)

rumors? lol

anyways, this is the hardest exam to get a 5 on, only 9.2% got one last year.

26.5% for a 5 in Physics C Mechanics
14.9% for a 5 in chem

I have a really good APUSH teacher so I'm pretty confident heading into this test.
