Meh, I got a four when I took it three years ago and I was happy. That's one less class I need to take.

Good luck. :)

WTH? No way...I took Calc AB and got a 2. And by the time I was done with it, my brain honestly felt like it'd been through a dishwasher.

Social sciences forever! :)

Got a 5 on it three years ago. It's one of the few AP Tests that is worth six full hours of college credit in Texas, that's six hours of As for a fraction of the work required at the University level.

Hardest AP test? Not a chance in mother fscking hell. Even the calc ones are pretty simple. Take a look at AP Physics C or AP Chem if you want to compare. I'd venture to say that AP History is one of the easier ones because it's based upon memorization and not thought process, like Chem/Physics are.

I'm about to take it this Friday and I got roughly a 4 on the practice aps.

Don't sweat it.

Here's how you score it:

(Amount Correct) - (Amount Incorrect x 0.25) = Raw Score

Raw Score x 1.125 = Weighted Score

If Raw Score > 46 > 55, then Final Score == 4

And also, remember it is out of 80 questions :)

I think Physics C is the hardest for most people.... and the histories are just a matter of preparing enough factually and you'll do fine....

I got a 4 four years ago and I didn't study except for class. My teacher even gave us a packet with US History after the Spanish American War...naturally I didn't read it. Oh well, I like my 4...two less classes to take.

I can't remember what the DBQ was for my test, but I do remember opening the essay section, reading the DBQ, and having to hold back an audible yelp because we'd spent about two weeks discussing exactly what the question asked.

Oh, and just to show I'm pretty much a complete idiot when it comes to math, I got a 4 on U.S. Government and a 5 on English Language.

:D

Nope, where can I get this mock AP US History test?

I've only been studying for Calc AB, because just finished the APUSH book like a week ago yet have been reviewing Calc for a good month.

that's how i felt aboutmy apush teacher initially, but after taking a practice test, you see they did their job well.

Heh, I scored over 90% raw on practice exams. It's an easy test, don't worry too much. It's not like the test changes drastically year to year (unlike calculus & 1st year they allowed graphing calcs, oh the horror).

AP US History wasn't bad when I took it 2 years ago. I got a 4 on it, but our teacher drilled us with DBQs nearly every month during the year.

Calc BC was the hardest for me, cause I took it for kicks with no prep and I hadn't touched any of the material in it for 6 months (I had my community college Calc 3 final about a week after this Calc 2 final-level test), and they did allow graphing calcs, but I didn't use one. Got a 3, and that was leaving half the free-response questions blank.

The easiest test was AP Civics by a longshot. That was more of a credit to my Civics teacher though, I was the only one that year to get a 5 on it from my school and I didn't get an A in AP Civics.

I got a 4 on the AP U.S. History test and a 3 on the AP European History test.

There was so much info to cover in the European class and not a chance in hell of remembering enough of it for the test. I loaded that test with enough BS to fertilize a golf course.

possibly becuase before 2003, they announced what years the dbq would centered around :).

got a 4 in apush two years back... i agree that it is one of the harder tests to take - you have to know what you are doing on that DBQ to do well. that dbq takes a lot of practice.

PMChris and i both killed the chem test last year though :). ooo i loved that test ;) - got me out of a full year of chem, and a full year of lab. basically took away my chem graduation requirements except for one semester of orgo.
